    Need recommendations on photo software

My son will be a senior (!) next year so I know I'm kind of early, but we really can't afford to have his senior pictures taken professionally. My cousin (who I don't really talk to very often...long story) has been posting pictures of her niece on Facebook that she's taken. I know she has some kind of editing software to make them look professional. I would like to take Justin's pictures myself and do the same thing but I don't have any idea where to start as far as buying the software. Any good ones out there (that are easy to use and affordable) or are there any I should avoid? Should I buy at a store or online, ebay? Thanks!

Adobe photoshop is what we use...expensive for the programs though
I don't know if I would trust ebay on programs that you will need a registration code for. maybe if they were sealed brand new, but not used.

here is a trial that is good for probably 14 days to see how it works...

Really it's more that you need a really good camera more than a good photo editing program. I use photoshop, but I mostly just use that for fun stuff I want to do with pictures.

Sears usually has a great price too....you can get a package for around $15.

Not sure what you can afford, but my favorite is picture people they are pricey, but right now they have a coupon out for 10 sheets for $99...which for them is great because it includes enhancements.
