Dog in need of rescue.
This dog was found by an old woman driving down the road...many other people had driven by it, but she stopped, picked him up, took him to the vet. He'd obviously been used in a fight, and if you look at the pictures on the site you can definitely see how close he was to dying...they need another $400 in donations to finish the surgery, so if you have anything in your paypal you can donate, please do so. Don't worry if it's not a lot, every little bit helps.
DON'T LET CHILDREN SEE THE PICS ON THIS SITE, VERY DISTURBING!
(sorry, should've put that in the original post)

Re: Dog in need of rescue.
The cruelty of people when it comes to dogs (and other animals) always shocks me. Such a tragic story. I pray that the people that fought her will be caught and prosecuted.
The more you complain, the longer God makes you live.

Re: Dog in need of rescue.
The last person here who got caught for dog fighting got 30 years in jail.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.

Re: Dog in need of rescue.
Please take this action! I received this in email right after reading this post. It is sponsored by the Humane Society
https://community.hsus.org/campaign/...ting/step1.tcl
Urge your representative to end animal fighting
Sponsored by Rep. Mark Green (R-WI), this bill increases penalties to a felony level for the interstate traffic in animals for dog fighting, cockfighting, and hog-dog fights and the barbaric weapons used in cockfights. This is important because prosecutors are reluctant to spend time and money on misdemeanor cases. Thank you for taking action to put an end to animal fighting.

Re: Dog in need of rescue.
I didn't look at the pics. I know what would happen. I would just end up mad. My hubby and I took in a dog we named Dingo because he looked just like one of those wild dingo dogs. We think his previous owners had tried to use him in fights and when they couldn't, they set him out. He was a sweet doggie, we had him for many years. He went to the Rainbow Bridge last August.
People who do this kind of stuff are cruel. And I really think that if you are cruel to animals, you are more than likely cruel to human beings also.
Missing Mommy and Daddy.
Missing my Lady,Dingo, Mitzi and Spud.
Missing my Aunt Ann.

OMG there is no words for that. I can't even comprehend why someone would do such a thing. I have a hard enough time watching Animal Planet when they rescue animals via the ASPCA but this has got to be one of the worst things I have ever seen.
On a lighter note I'm glad Gyspy is recovering and will be able to live out her life in a loving home soon
