Need family reunion ideas
We've been having this reunion for 42 years, since I was 6. Well, it has now been turned over to me to do all the planning. It has been a boring reunion for some time now, basically because my sister never put much thought into it. So now I'm trying to revive it! Any ideas will be much appreciated!! Thanks!

Re: Need family reunion ideas
We had our Chambers of Commerce banquet this past week and they had created a DVD for us all to watch.....It was photo's of our town from it's beginning to the present day. They set it up so nice, with "This is our town" playing while the pictures showed. Then between the photos they had interviews with the old timers telling stories and tales from the past about our town. They also had the towns historian to narrate it. Then it goes to the present and they went to each of the business and filmed the owners and employees waving at the camera inside each business. We just loved it and they sold copies for $10 each to cover cost.
That gave me an idea for our family reunion this year. I'm having all the family members bring old & new photo's on floppies this year so we can create something like that. I think it would be a wonderful keepsake for all the family members once we finish it. I've done started filming some of the older members of our family having them tell funny stories from the past about our family. I'm asking all the members to contribute anything they think might be of interest for it. Everyone seems very interested in this idea and are looking forward to it. Maybe your bunch might enjoy doing something like that too.NEW ! => ISO LIST! please L@@K and see if you have something I need.

Re: Need family reunion ideas
On our reunions we always met at places that had lots of things to do. Course all of us had to travel to get there. Like Colorado or Missouri. Went to Winter Park and Branson. Lots of things to see and do together or the kids can do without the adults. Water Park and such. Motel had a pool and games for the kids while the adults visited. The places had picnic tables for a big dinner together and supplied a reunion cake.
