An empty envie
I got this in the mail yesterday: a padded envie with just a sheet of paper in it and the flap open. It was supose to contain a book for me to read and submit a review for. So I went to the post office and filled out the appropriate form. The guy who took the form from me basicly said not to hold my breath. The package came from NY to Washington State so there are many places it could have fallen out.
My question...have any of you every had something lost in the mail and gotten it back?
I did email the company & told them what happened. So hopefully they will mail another book out to me (with lots of extra tape).

Re: An empty envie
This is gonna sound weird...but can you tell me the name of the book? lol Today, I got a package from the usps stamped 'reconditioned'. It contained an invoice that was suppose to be shipped with a purse I ordered. However, my invoice was with a book. Apparently, my package was torn open at this mail center and they stuck the wrong thing in with the invoice when they repackaged it. I didn't get an explanation or anything in this package.
My feedback
If I forgot to leave you feedback please let me know, and please leave me feedback also. Thanks.

I got a padded envelope and it was empty.Thing is it was sealed. No clue who it was from because it didn't have a return address. I think it was postmarked from new york. I wish I knew what was suppose to be in it?

The book is called If We Kiss by Rachel Vail. That would be the craziest coincidence if you got the book, lol!

Re: An empty envie
That's not the one I got. lol. This one is a college geography study guide. That would have been a crazy coincidence though. But it was a big coincidence to be sitting here wondering how I find this book's owner and/or my purse and seeing that you were missing a book. Lol
Well, what do we do to find our missing stuff? My package didn't have insurance so the post office isn't gonna do much for me. I can't complain to the company I ordered from since this was obviously a postal error. I'm holding out a slight hope that tomorrow my damaged package will arrive with the purse and no invoice receipt, lol.

Re: An empty envie
I had a book get lost in the mail too a few months ago. I thought I'd never get it and it was lost forever! I filled out the forms and I was totally amazed that they found it!!!! They called me personally and then delivered it to me. I was completely blown away. They must have a good person working in the "lost mail" area.
Good luck!
