Does anyone know how long the post office will forward mail to your new address?

regular mail it is 12 mths, but they do it longer they just tell you 12 mths. and other stuf flike magazines it's 6 mths

It seems like forever. I still get some mail for the people who owned out house and we have been here for seven years although it has tapered off quite a bit. I always forwarded it to their new address. I never got one piece of mail from our old address so I guess those people would throw ours away.
Oh I just re-read your question. Please disregard my stupid ass reply. It's monday and snowing out. I can't think. LOL I guess the post office won't forward it very long from my experience.Last edited by janelle; 01-26-2004 at 03:37 PM.
