LARGE pimpily rash from pantene pro v on upper arms

I dont usually buy name brain shampoo, I however found a coupon and bought one of those large pantene pro v shampoo bottles for $1.50. Imagine my surprise and horror when after getting out in the shower my forehead and my upper arms began scratching like crazy. I looked and there are pimple like rashes on my upper arm and like four on my forehead. This is the only different product I have used, so I am for sure that it is the shampoo. I am taking the shampoo back tomorrow and contacting pantene. My recommendation is, dont buy this shampoo. Benedryl isnt even helping

OMG that sucks! This is the first I've heard of anyone having a reaction to their product, I've never had an issue. Hope it clears up for you ASAP!

I have never had a problem with Pantene pro v. That's very strange.. Maybe your skin doesn't agree with it (?)

I love my pantene pro v! I do, however, have a bad reaction to Garnier Fructis. It all depends on the person I suppose.

Sorry you had an allergic reaction... but what does that have to do w/ anyone else buying it? I use it... not allergic to it... it and the Aussie products are the only ones that actually keep my hair moist like they claim... so my recommendation... definitely buy it unless you're allergic to it!!!

Different people are allergic to different things. I am frightfully allergic to Avon's Skin So Soft but I know a lot of other people love it.

I use Pantene all the time.....never had any problems.

And where the heck did you get the big bottle for $1.50??!! Are you sure it's not a knock-off brand??

I cannot use Pantene...yet its the only thing that helps keep my hair untangled!!!! It irritates my scalp something fierce! I always made sure I rinsed it out completely with cool water too. My head itches just remembering it. LOL

Freds ((a TN brand of store)) had a deal doubling coupons up to a dollar. So I got it for $1.59 before tax

The rash/pimples are not gone despite benedryl and calamine, I will see what Pantene says when I call them.
