Thread: Important: Seen commercials posted?

Hi, I am going to post a few shows in a couple hours that aren't up on this board yet.
BUT!!!

I have seen some threads that posted answers AND commercials.
AREN'T posting commercials against the "rules?"
Please if someone(s) can answer this question before I start posting it would really be helpful to know the answer to this question.

I know we used to post commercials in the past but thought that "rule" changed.

Any post here or other forums is considered fraud and makes you subject to disqualification in the unlikely chance that you get caught. It states in the rules under Fraud and Termination of Membership:

"You agree that in the event of fraud, misconduct, or suspected fraud or misconduct by you or anyone acting on your behalf or under your password, RewardTV, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify you from participation in any or all Promotions; suspend access to your Account indefinitely pending investigation; cancel your Account; terminate your membership; void any Points you have earned; and/or require the return of any prize you have won or Reward you have redeemed. The forfeiture of Points and/or return of prizes or Rewards shall in no way preclude RewardTV from pursuing other avenues of recourse such as criminal or civil proceedings in connection with such conduct."

"Such fraud and misconduct includes, but is not limited to: (g) the exchange or publishing of questions and answers to RewardTV Games on message boards, in newsgroups or in any other public or private forum, or via e-mail or any other forum of written or verbal communication."

You can find all of the info under Rules at the bottom of the RTV site.

That means fraud includes posting games and commercials. I wouldn't use the same user name on here or any other RTV forum that is the username for my RTV account. That is about the only way they could prove that any of us cheated. Hope that clears up your question. Of course, the admin here could furnish RTV with all of the IP addresses in the posts if they requested them. That would allow them to catch all who commit fraud that play RTV. I doubt that the admin of his forum or any other would do that though. Hope that answers your question.

I understand and have read the fraud/termination agreement. I am just curious about commercials. Don't we generally stay away from that now?

Very few post commercials here now. They just don't take the time to post them or guess and only answer the questions that are posted. Most of the points you earn are from the commercials, so it would help out a lot if they were posted. It's up to you whether or not you want to post commercials. There is no rule against it.
