Marketing people write these. They're about as conceited and ignorant as you'll find. They run these companies, and they hire the cheapest of programmers, who have no job experience, and only stick around til they find a better job. The marketing people end up running them all out the door, once they find out these people can not be reasoned with. You can see from a lot (most) of the surveys that they're just cut and paste jobs. Endless pages of radio buttons, and often very poorly designed. And you end up spending hours on qualifying, and minutes on actual surveys in almost all cases. I was getting a couple of $10 payouts from MyPoints a week, almost exclusively from surveys, after I figured out the tricks, but now that I'm figuring out the whole bonus program deal, it seems that MyPoints is not worth the effort. The biggest problem is the routers.

I wonder if it was the same survey for all of us? Same thing happened with me the other day. 170 pts.

Beware of Survey
# 64778211
Length: 10 min
71 PTS
It took me fifty minutes then errored out at the end. Had to send in a ticket. At least I took screenshots, but it's ridiculous that we have to go through this all of the time.

Just a reminder - some of the items on Magic Receipt page are only good through April 15 to be eligible for points.

I know I seldom post here but I'm quitting MP as soon as I can redeem (they want a mobile number which I don't have so waiting to hear from customer service). Sadly, it's gone downhill since it switched over (I don't even bother doing the surveys as they ask a bunch of questions and then say you don't quality, etc., they want to set a bunch of cookies....) - Sigh. It was nice while it lasted.

It’s time to set your goals again! This month’s Challenge begins on Monday, April 12th and runs through Sunday, April 18th.
You can set your goals starting today through Wednesday, April 14th–but keep in mind no activities are tracked until your goals have been submitted!
This means if you wait until the last minute on Wednesday to submit your goals, make sure to adjust for the fact that you will only have 4-5 days to complete them.

If you can't find a survey on your computer, I would suggest looking on your mobile phone if you have one. Couldn't qualify for any using my PC this morning so opened MP on my phone. There were three surveys. One for 1 minute, one for 2 minutes, and one for 3 minutes. The 3 minute one was worth 43 points. It was next to nothing to do. Answered a few qualification questions, then there was one question that asked me if I drank certain alcoholic beverages. I answered none of the above, and was waiting to be DQd, but it gave me the 43 points. I was shocked. I also completed the 1 minute for 17 points and the 2 minute for 9 points. Took next to no time to do them and got all the points. Couldn't believe it.

My goals have finally dropped. I only need to make 79 points. I think I'll be giving myself a little break from both of these sites this weekend.

I have no idea what my goal was today, but I made it at 97 because I turned in some produce items on the Magic Receipts. They were worth more on MP than SB.
Funny thing -- I had both the MP receipt page and SB receipt page open at the same time to compare the points. I had bought dates -- on sale, had a $2 coupon and knew they were on my shopping list. MP had them at 88pts, but SB said 150 ! So I figured it was worth doing SB because the produce items were only 4-5 pts different. When I clicked on the dates to submit, it said they were no longer available -- they are right there in front of me on both pages. I went to MP -- still there, but not for the store I bought them. So I refreshed the page -- sure enough, gone altogether! C'mon -- was there a sudden run on people submitting dates today? They've been there forever and the Exp. date said 4/14. Can't win.

I read this while at lunch and thought I'd look for that survey and try it. I found it.......I answered just as you did.....
I got DQ'D! I got a freaking lousy 5 pts! lol
But yes, I agree about doing them on your phone. I do some when I wake up in the middle of the night. Seems I have better luck that way.

That's too bad. Are you sure it was DQ and not over quota?
