Yes, it's been that way for awhile. The offer has to be added before you purchase it. That's why I just check everything as soon as it is added, just in case I find a receipt for something on the list.

My sister is quitting right after she reaches a $50 WM GC. (She's 3/4 of the way there). I don't know if anyone remembers a few months ago I mentioned that she won a $50 gift card from one of the daily contests that MP usually has. They sent her an email asking for her info, and never responded back. She's sent them dozens of messages, emails, and tried to get them on FB. NOTHING. I've seen the email. It looked totally legit, and we googled the persons name who sent it, and info did come up mentioning her job at MP.
I've cut back a LOT, and don't worry about making daily goal anymore.
What??? They're not going to take WM gift cards anymore??
Why wouldn't registers take them? All they gotta do is scan the bar code like you do merchandise.
Yep, if it's not on your MR list prior to purchase, they reject it. Also, if you have something on your MR list that was deleted for a while, then re-added, you don't get credit if the item was purchased before the new start date. I don't remember if it was Toffifay or another candy, but I didn't get the points because it was purchased too soon.

I clicked on one of the vendors, and got 5 points and it checked off 'Earn Points from Discover' on the To Do list.
I'm talking about the e-cards we get from MP -- have no idea about physical cards.
This time I asked a cashier which registers were the "old" ones, still taking the e-gift cards. Only 2. Last time I had no idea about "old and new" registers. They actually had to take my whole order and transfer it (electronically, thankfully) over to one of the old registers in order to get my gift card to work.
I've got another $25 one -- it'll be my last. My Walmart charges a fee for pickup orders under $35. It's called an "under minimum order" fee and you can only view it in your cart. I was unable to find any current info about combining cards for online purchases -- at one time you could only use Walmart cards, you couldn't split the payment using the gift card and a credit card.
So, there's nothing I really want at MP. Not worth my time any more.

I saw a discussion on another site about Paypal raising their redemption cost -- it said "the extra 30 cents helps cover the increasing cost of offering the PayPal redemption option, including processing fees that PayPal charges us for sending payments." So I checked it out on MP and SB
A $25 gc on SB costs 2530pts
A $25 gc on MP costs 4048pts!!!!
Complete rip off.

Wal Mart and Sams club also went up. Now 4000 pts for $25 GC.
Last time I redeemed for Paypal was the last day that they had them for 2400 pts. That was Nov 6, according to my account statement.
I'm not switching back to SB. I started out with them YEARS and YEARS ago, and I left because they kept raising the point values for their gift cards. Ironically enough, it was cheaper at MyPoints and that's why I joined them. lol.
ETA: I just went thru the rest of the list.....they've ALL gone up to 4000 pts for $25!
(Last month I got Ihop for my parents.....$10 , 1000 pts. It's now 1600 for $10!!)
This is BS.
I just got one of those ''How'd we do?" emails from MP. This one is regarding a complaint I made about the 'click and earn' that only credits 2 pts instead of 5. Since when do they respond to those complaints??
Not only did they never respond to me, but it's still not fixed!! (And one of them is missing this morning. I only see one worth 5 pts, and it didn't credit for me at all.)Quote:
