Thanks to some much need shopping yesterday, I made my second goal. I thought for sure today's would be around 550 or 600, but it dropped to 460!
Haven't made my first goal yet, and not many surveys. Only got one TrueX this morning.

No one is going to get $2 off. That's very misleading.

If you go to the "Redeem Points" and look at how much it costs to buy a gift card, most of the general ones I looked at cost .00632 per $1. So 340 pts = approx $2.15. That's how they figure it. I've always said it's not worth working so hard for pennies.Quote:

It's more like a rebate.
Staples does the same type of thing. Irritates the bejeezus out of me. They'll advertise something for $10 and then say you get an 'instant $2 rebate' at the register.

I dislike places like CVS and Walgreens that advertise something saying you get $2 back -- but it's a store credit. You only get it when you buy something else -- that's not a discount on the original item. And most of the time the credit is only good for a short time and only on full price item, with lots of exclusions.
The Total Wine & More store hands you a discount slip at the register when you buy something -- but it starts the next day. I'M HERE TODAY -- why do they care if I spend the money today or tomorrow. The store is not close, so we don't go except when we have a dr appt or something in that area. Not going back the next day.
Everything is a gimmic these days.

RevU never credits anything any more. Clicked on one for 60pts, stated it would credit in 5 mins, getting spam emails now, and not only did it not credit, it doesn't even show up as being clicked on in my ledger.
