"Technically" all income should be reported, no matter how small the amount. The $600 is the amount that a company is required to send you a tax form. I'll just have to take a screenshot and show it to my tax preparer.

You're right about all income should be reported but certain "income" doesn't count. Some of this may apply to Mypoints. IF you have a cashback credit card and get money from it, that isn't considered income. IT is considered a price reduction on your spending, like a coupons or a sale. So the points you earn from buying thru Mypoints should probably be handled the same way. Now, clicking emails and doing surveys may very well be income. Things that did not require you to spend money would not be a price reduction. Does that make sense? Ask your tax accountant to be sure. But that is the way I understand.

No, it was some outdoor product logo -- clothing, camping gear, etc. They had 2-3 sample logos and wanted to know what I thought of them, what products I felt their name suited (don't even remember the name now, just a circle with some mountains sketched inside). Just makes me angry. Got all the way to the end where they said "just a few questions for classification purposes" and then popped me out with "not all surveys are winners." So insulting.

Do you REALLY keep track of all these things? I know I can sort my activity by Redemptions, but I don't have anywhere near $600 in redemptions, and I certainly don't think I'm going to try to figure out if these pennies are taxable. I can barely keep track of the surveys MP pays me on, much less figure out if they are taxable! Bingo Boards are a combination of buying stuff and clicking on stuff. What about the monthly Bonus points (like I have a lot of those to worry about LOL) -- that's also a combo activity each day.

I don't think you'd have to keep track of how much each survey pays out. All I'm worried about is the gift cards and cash back (paypal), that I redeemed last year. I did go over $600, but didn't get any forms from MyPoints.
With all the talk that Biden has been doing about the IRS agents, I'm claiming it. I don't want anyone knocking on my door for an audit!
I'm getting my taxes done tonight......I'll see what he says about it.

Wow, MP is on the ball this morning. Sent in a help ticket for a survey. Attempted a couple more surveys, and the ticket was already credited. Woot!

Nope -- I was late to the party. I only got 6.

I had an issue with my Sam's Club membership purchase and sent a help ticket this morning.
Got credit already!
