Desktop surveys are sometimes populated with the same surveys as PL. Requesting an answer about being banned from Desktop Surveys will get a canned response about inconsistencies or some such distractors. Happened to my ex, who was banned for about a year, I think. He just got reinstated.

Well -- for those who can still do Surveys from the Survey Home page, they just offered me Bonus Points for a Limited Time. Of course, that offer popped up once I had finished a survey and was returned to the Survey Home page. No bonus points for me. Figures.

Does anyone else find it kind of odd that the exact same day I started having problems with the surveys at MyPoints, Swagbucks started emailing me telling me my account was about to be deactivated due to inactivity??
I haven't signed in to SB for almost a year! Just for the heck of it, I signed in and attempted a survey. I figure if I'm blocked at one site, I'm blocked at the other...right?? Wrong! I had no problem what so ever completing (and getting credit for) a survey! Now why is that??
I think I'll go back to SB and try a Peanut Labs survey and see what happens.

Not once have I ever been offered bonus points at Mypoints for a survey.

I do both SB and MP. They seem to alternate for me -- one week SB goes well, one week MP goes well. They never seem to both go well at the same time! R
ight now SB has SWAGO going -- like MP's Bingo (and the board is identical). They also have Collector's Bills going on for Searches. The wins are a bit bigger than the normal 4-5 SBs. I never make the whole collection, so I never get the bonus. Under More/Play they have 3 free games at the very bottom of the page which pay off 10 SBs (total). I play the pyramid solitaire. No matter if you win or lose, it only gives you 2 SBs every other game. Just submit the total each time and continue until you've been awarded 10 SBs.
And, as with MP -- I don't work too hard at this.

I went back to the SB Discussion page to see when I left SB. My last day with SB was Aug 27th, so it's been 15 months since I've signed in. Not sure why they're just now sending me emails about deactivating my account. You'd think they would have done that already.
Reading over some of my posts there, I kinda noticed a trend. It's just about every 12 months that I start having problems with one site or the other. I do well at one site for about a year, then get blocked or banned from surveys. Go to the other site for a year, then get blocked there too.
I wonder if there's a certain cash out amount ($$) that they start doing that to people??

That could be -- I don't ever earn a lot. A couple $25 gc's a month or something like that. You've seen my posts on about these sites -- I don't like my daily goal to get above 100, so I back off for a while. Too much work -- rewards are not big enough. A penny or two for clicking on videos and waiting for it to count down. I've got better things to do with my time!

Now I can't watch videos. Since yesterday, I get this response when I click on a video.
You are running this activity already in another window, or refreshing the window repeatedly. Please close this window and continue the activity in the other open window, or close all activity windows and try again.
I don't know what it's talking about? I don't have any other windows open. I even shut down the computer and restarted it, and still get the same response.
I'm done. I've had enough.

Have you tried doing it in a different browser? Or as the MP moderators say, cleared all cookies/cache and logged out and in again? LOL

Yes, cleared cookies/cache.
I'm on Chromebook..can only use their browser
