    My Points & Swagbucks...

Did anyone else get an email from MyPoints, stating that they are now part of Swagbucks??

The email was very vague, just stating that they were now part of the same company. Didn't mention anything as to how earning points, or getting rewards was going to change.

I'd post the email, but I accidentally deleted it.

Why so many changes all of a sudden from these reward/survey companies!

(Inbox Dollars sent me an email saying that from now on, I'm only going to receive ONE paid email offer PER WEEK because I don't use their other offers consistently. Why waste my time on surveys when 99% of the time I don't qualify for them??)

Yes, I got it and it was vague. I'm wondering if there will be changes. I hope not. I haven't got the one from Inbox Dollars yet. I have had the same experience with their surveys.

There's an app that allows you to watch videos just like a swag app. I found it at the itunes app store.

I hadn't really read the Mypoints email until I saw your post... so thanks. But afterwards I did some quick research and found this.

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/prodeg...JmMQR2dGlkAw--

"Apr 19, 2016) - Prodege, LLC -- parent company of multiple online rewards, market research and media brands including its flagship consumer site, Swagbucks -- announced today that it has acquired leading shopping rewards site MyPoints.com ("MyPoints"), adding to its growing portfolio of digital loyalty and reward businesses. MyPoints was previously a subsidiary of United Online, Inc.

Headquartered in San Francisco, MyPoints will continue to operate independently under its own brand. The acquisition means that advertisers, retailers and market research firms can now work with both MyPoints and Swagbucks in order to achieve greater scale and marketing power. MyPoints members will experience no changes other than expanded opportunities to earn reward points in the coming months."

When did they drop the TJMaxx gift cards? I am really annoyed - I've been saving up for this and it's not available anymore. They also are "charging" more points for an actual card over an E-card.

I don't know about the TJMaxx cards, but yes, they did increase the amount of points needed to cash in for plastic cards. They screwed up one of my orders and refunded me my points and told me to re-order it. When I tried to, I couldn't because I didn't have enough points!

    I'm sticking with Swagbucks! Much easier to get GC's. I average 1-2, $25 GC's a month.

I just canceled my Mypoints account today (I was waiting for my son to redeem an online GC.) Used to be if you didn't qualify for a survey you got at least 10 pts, now it's 5. And the other stuff, well you have to spend a very long time to earn very few points, ie videos. No, I'll stick with my regular survey sites and not waste my time with mypoints anymore. I liked mypoints for magazines.com-earn points, get deals on mags. I can do that using Ebates so I think I will.
