Sleep - Blood Pressure Study in Boston $500
The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is looking for women and men between the ages 25 to 65 years who have been told by their doctor to have blood pressure above normal, or who are on stable blood pressure lowering medication.
You might be interested in participating in a research study which investigates the effect of improved sleep hygiene (e.g. timing of bedtimes, exercise, eating and drinking habits) on blood pressure. The study involves a 2-week at-home evaluation phase, a 6-week at-home intervention, and 2 overnight in-hospital stays before and after the intervention phase. Payment for the study including screening, at-home evaluation and intervention phase, and 2 in-hospital stays will be $500.
