Freeride vs Mypoints
Is Freeride better than Mypoints? If so, how?

Re: Freeride vs Mypoints
I personally like both of them
They both seem to be really easy on getting points and both reward very quickly

Re: Freeride vs Mypoints
Freeride right now is THE place to earn free points (and points of value, too). If you can get around 850 points a day -- between the HotJobs banner, the iFilms banner, the OTX survey, and the Cabs -- and this is not unusual, a lot of times you can earn substantially more...850 points = about 80 cents. A day. Without spending any money! Once points come out of the pending pot, rewards are sent out pretty quickly after requesting them. They don't have nearly the variety that MyPoints has, though.
MyPoints, on the other hand, does still send out a couple of 5 point emails every few days...worth about 4 cents each if you do the math. Their shopping rates, when you convert both sites to percentages (which I've done, hehehe) are actually pretty similar to Freeride's. There are a few merchants where MyPoints really shines, like Overstock and SmartBargains, but across the board, they're really pretty comparable. No real reason to shop through MyPoints instead of Freeride. Last thing I want to throw in there is that MyPoints' parent company (United Air Lines) announced they intend to sell MyPoints as part of their bankruptcy reorganization. That is in all likelihood going to have SOME impact on the program.
So...right now, I'd give the edge to Freeride. Never thought I'd say THAT, after being burned by their former owner not once but TWICE, but right now Freeride has the free points, they have similar shopping rates, and they're (in my opinion) a little more stable because of the upcoming ownership change at MP.
Not saying they're THE BEST rewards program, just the best of the two.
Just MHO,
Becky

Re: Freeride vs Mypoints
I like both but I have gotton about 3 $50 certs. from Freeride in the past year and about 1 $25 cert. from My Points. in the past year if that. this is without, purchasing anything through either of them when I do buy through either of them of course I get a little more in a year, so to get rewards quicker freeride is where I would go, I have been getting 1054 points a day for a while now, and for a few day a couple weeks ago I got well over 2000 points a day as every now and then they let you get I Film twice a day and or Hot Jobs twice a day, 2 weeks ago the second Hot Jobs let you get 1000 points when hot jobs came up the second time. My Points usually sends out rewards within a week although I have been waiting about a month now for a web. cert. Freeride usually sends out within a month.
