Re: Mypoints account disabled
It turns out since several members of my family living in 2 separate locations have accounts we all received suspension notices asking for proof of existance from Mypoints. They need a faxed copy of a legal ID showing we exist before theyll reactivate accounts. So any and all forum users here who have accounts for themself and another family member with same last name ought to be on lookout for this potential hassle from the Mypoints police

My Points has always allowed more than 1 account per address. You may want to call them to straighten this out. They have always been very cooperative!

Re: Mypoints account disabled
This isn't nothing new for mypoints they have always done this.Once you all send proof in they give back your account. In differant households I didn't know something must really be the same about both households. They will do for the same household.
handle a stressful situation like a dog If you can't eat it or hump it. Piss on it and walk away.

Re: Mypoints account disabled
it is very important for each family member to be sure to LOG OUT OF MYPOINTS before letting another user on the same computer. Otherwise your points may be credited to another account and then you have to fax or mail a copy of each persons id, not to bad a hassle and quick to restore.

Re: Mypoints account disabled
What I suspect happened was the close time frame for logging onto accounts caused it since we often use the same computer and always log out when done. Apparently they might have thought it was all one person when its 4 different individuals at 2 different addresses all with same last name. I cant blame them but their blunt email notification didnt happen for over 10 hours, maybe over 14 hours and caused some concern. I always have a hassle getting points credited for offers that pay points in 30 days like signing up for freebizmags etc and many of those offers dont send email confirmations out so you have no proof of doing the offer and Mypoints ought to know what the offers entail and ensure the vendors always send proof to takers of an offer. I can count on one hand the number of these delayed offers that credited without having to email membercare. And depending upon the member care rep who replies you either have a hard time or easy.
All told Mypoints isnt bad but they need to improve their responses.
