e-rewards question
Has anyone cashed in their points for Omaha Steak. Do you get a certificate that you can use to purchase Omaha products anywhere (like I could buy through My Points and get the points from them) or do you have to order the meats from the e-reward site?
Thye sent me notification that my points will expire on the 31st. I have already redeemed for blockbuster this year so I can't get more of them. Don't know what else I really want.
TIA

Re: e-rewards question
Do they have this reward again? When I checked about 2 weeks ago, they didn't have any & had removed it due to someone posting the deal on an internet message board (I emailed them to ask when it would be available again since there isn't much I can cash out for).
You would get a code, I believe, to use a Omaha Steaks. That's what I got last year when I cashed out for ebags. However, there were restrictions on it's use (couldn't combine with other offers, etc.), so make sure you read the fine print.

Re: e-rewards question
Thanks for your input. Actually, what do I have to lose. If I don't cash in I will lose 75% of my points and if I can't use it the way I wish I lose the points anyway. I wish they had better options at e-rewards.

Re: e-rewards question
Cash them in for the HiltonReward points. You can do that every 3 months and they can be used to exchange for frequent flier miles, hotel stays, or rewards from the HiltonRewards catalogue.
That is the only prize I ever use from e-rewards.

That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away, and you have their shoes."

Re: e-rewards question
I didn't know you could cash out for Hilton Honors every 3 months! Darn, now i'm going to lose points cause I waited to cash out.
I cashed out for the Omaha Steaks last year and ended up not even using the certificate. If I remember right,You had to use the link from their email and it was $25 off purchase of regular priced items. No combining with other offers, etc. You can get just as good a deal through other sites when they have special offers, so it's nothing special. But if you're going to lose the points anyway, go ahead and try it. Then let us know if anything has changed.
So many freebies, so little time!

Re: e-rewards question
I got the same email about the expiring points. It wouldn't let me do the one for Blockbuster's again this year (the only one worth anything, IMHO).
Thought about the steaks, but there wasn't any detail available and I figured it wasn't any different than those promos they send in the mail from time to time, so I cashed out for the ebags coupon. They have zillions of things, few restricted brands that you can't use the coupon on (nothing that I wanted anyway) and their shipping costs seem reasonable. Oh well, if I lose it from not using it, c'est la vie it was all free for some fast clicks on their ads and questionnaires anyway.

Re: e-rewards question
Has anyone ever cashed out for the FTD $25 GC? Says off any purchase. Can't do BB again until 2005, so am looking for alternatives.
Thanks.

Re: e-rewards question
I think they changed the way Omaha Steaks works and you get a link so you can't go thru MyPoints. I cashed out in Sept. and I'm pretty sure that's how I had to use it.

Re: e-rewards question
It was posted on the board recently someone cash out for Omaha Steaks and they send you a link where you can only used them only for certain items. I only cash out for Blockbuster gift certicates you get them email to you with your name on it can used one a month for 6 month. They need more stuff and better offers I have over $70 in my account and don't see nothing good to cash out for. Here's the post about that.
