Thread: Another request for prayers for another friend who has cancer

This is Mike's 3rd cancer surgery for 3 different cancers. I don't know why this happens, Mike was a health nut, working out, eating right, never smoked or drank, I don't understand why this happens to someone who has done everything right. This one they couldn't get it all, to close to a major artery, he will be going to a Tumor Board in St. Louis to see what else can be done. I don't think he can do radiation again. His constant companion lost a spouse to cancer years ago, the eyes show it all.

Had lunch with them last week, Mike said he's not sure anything can be done. If it will only extend his life he isn't interested, he would rather feel good than have the side effects until the end.

They want to run additional tests, since the cancer didn't show up in the last 3 month scan and then poof a tumor the size of the end of your little finger. He might be eligible for some test studies.
It's fast growing and a month since his surgery to remove what they could. It doesn't look very good right now.
Any additional prayers for healing and peace are greatly appreciated.
