Has anyone ever completed a survey from "paradigmsample?"
It seems like I start out with them, answer a few questions, then get bounced around to other survey companies, and never completing anything.
I noticed this a lot in Swagbucks too.
I'll sort through my notes :)
BYW - I did encounter that weird survey that had the note about clicking the button would terminate the survey. It had all the programming stuff (what browser you were using, and the data as it was being collected). Really weird.
I got it again yesterday too. This time at Inbox Dollars. Twenty minute survey wasted.
That's another site I'm giving up on. I need 3 cents to cash out with them and I'm done. Takes about a year to get $30. lol
ETA: Another problem I'm having (MP) is when I click on "Complete a Watch Activity". Everthing runs as normal, but I don't get credit for it the first time. I have to watch again to get it checked off my Daily 5 list. It's been doing that for about 2 weeks.
Does that happen to anyone else?
I always have to click the 'Next Page' button for the last video, and it says I earned the points (I do this on my desktop computer, with multiple tabs). Sometimes it says that the activity is not available, then changes to the 'earned points' message. Then I go back to the 'Watch' tab (other screen) and refresh to make sure it has been added to my total.
I'm not going to set up the 7-Day Challenge until I get my coupon issue resolved. I don't want to stress out about it, and I hate to keep scanning and sending help tickets.
So, I just submitted a Help Ticket for purchasing four items (In-Store Deals) for a total of 511 points. After scanning and uploading the receipt, of course I got the error message that it couldn't be verified. The good news is that I did get a confirmation email that my ticket was received.
But what a headache it was to submit it! I did take a screenshot of the items as they appeared in my list at MyPoints, as well as a screen shot of the error message. Initially I selected 'In-Store Deals' but that turned out to be a mistake - it's not the same as purchasing from your list; instead, it's for those 'special' deals, like purchasing Armor-All from Walmart, etc.
Then I tried 'Shop" - but no, that was for reporting purchases for points per dollar through vendors. Which merchant? Has it been 30 days since your purchase was made? Those kind of questions. Time to start over.
Finally settled on 'Deals' which seemed to allow me to submit all the information (I hope!) to support my claim. This is also the topic that asked for a screen shot and date of completion. I filled out this screen, attached scans of the receipt (two files) and two screenshots.
Keeping my fingers crossed that I get all the points!
I try to buy my items on seperate receipts, just for that reason! I dont think their computer picks up on everything purchased.
They really need a Help Ticket option just for receipts, and In-Store Deal receipts. I hate jumping through hoops like you did. I think last time I sent one, I just did ''General Inquiries". It's been about 4 days waiting though, so I'm not sure that was the right choice. lol
Something seems to be different between mine and yours. When I click on Complete a Watch Activity, the page that comes up is the Watch activities from their FB page. (The post from April 6, with pic of JLo, Kevin Bacon, etc....). This started coming up about 2 weeks ago, which is about when I started having to watch the first one, twice. These are really easy....10 of them that average around 30 seconds each. Other than having to watch twice, I haven't had any problems with these.
I'm not going to do coupons at all for this reason. Plus, my printer/desktop still isn't working. I think one coupon print is required, so I'll just have my mom print one for herself.
Sitting here at 1:31 a.m., trying to get a survey done to complete my Daily 5, and refreshed the screen - and got the 'Congratulations' pop-up message that I met my Daily Goal. Apparently someone reviewed my Help Ticket, and I received credit for the four items I bought (511 points)! Made my night - but I still want to do that survey, lol.
It's odd that it seems someone works on a Sunday night around 11pm, but no one is there during normal hours on weekends. I'm still waiting to hear about help tickets from the 24th of Aug.
I wonder how much is computerized, and just automatically approves help tickets regardless of the issue?
When I sent my scanned receipt, I underlined each of the items. I received a separate email for each item (subject: Points Awarded) and in the message: "Good news! We were able to validate your offer (#) Points will be added to your account shortly." with a stock graphic of the product. Then another email - requesting a rating. So far so good.

Sorry about the duplicate post - the mouse is double-clicking or sticking or something some times. Probably need to replace it.
Scanned 3 different receipts tonight......2 accepted, 1 said it was blurry. (It wasn't! lol)
Sent help ticket, and got a response and credited within 20 mins!! Has anyone looked outside to see if the sky is falling!!?? :O
Wow...I've NEVER had a response that fast!
Now if they'd just take care of the ones I sent last week!
20 minutes has to be some kind of a record! Mine took several hours, and I thought that was fast. And it would have been done around 10:30 Pacific time, because I got the notifications around 1:30 Eastern.
Maybe it's a good shift in the planets and universe. You probably need to send a reminder about the other older help ticket. I had to do that once, and it was resolved in a few days after I sent in a new ticket and referenced the old file number. Good luck with that!
So does anyone know how often they are supposed to be doing that 7 day challenge?
I haven't heard or seen anything about the next 7 day challenge. I thought I read somewhere that the first one was some kind of a test. Maybe it didn't go over very well.
Just had to send a help ticket for not getting credited for survey.
I noticed they have a new catagory to answer. "What was the topic of the survey".
There's been plenty of times I've done surveys when they ask you about 4-5 different topics....wonder how we're suppose to answer that?
In the old thread, someone mentioned that they didn't like to take the Samplicious/Lucid surveys because they wanted too much info or access. I think most survey companies are asking for the same, because they are collecting the demographic data to help classify responses into groups. More often than not, those Samplicious/Lucid surveys are like a screening process - I'm often redirected to other survey sites, like qualtrics.com or decipherinc.com. Both of those can be sort of hit or miss. Same thing for Spectrum.com - screening to redirect to other surveys.
I've been seeing more surveys from userzoom.com and intellisurvey, and about the same amount from cint.com. Some newer ones I've noticed are saysoforgood, confirmit.com, and prsrvy.com, usually after screening. I was thinking about putting this collection of info in a spreadsheet (gee, I must be a little bored to consider this) just to see if any patterns pop up.
Looks like they're getting ready to add something new. Found this under my account activity
https://www.mypoints.com/account-bonus-points
https://help.mypoints.com/hc/en-us/a...e-Bonus-Points
That rebate bonus sounds like swag ups.
I really hate when these companies gobble each other up.
Much like send earnings & inbox dollars. Thankfully I cashed out of sendearnings about 6 months before they were dissolved.
Don't forget to claim your bonus points.
Kathy
Yeah, it does sound like swagbucks. They're all owned by same company.
I just cashed out of Inbox Dollars last week, and closed my account. I don't see them being around much longer. Takes way too long to earn $30 in points, to be able to cash out.
I'm only doing MyPoints now. Pretty soon, I think MP and Swagbucks will be the only 2 left.
Thanks! I forgot all about it! lol
I was one of those who said that, but for me it was Lucid and yoursurveys.com
I know they can all collect some type of info, but I just don't like purposly giving it to them. They just want too much info
7 Day Challenge starts next week.
From today's Daily Poll............
Quote:
Today is the first day to submit goals for the September 7-Day Challenge which starts next Monday! Will you be participating?
Quote:
Take the 7-Day Challenge for a chance to earn up to 800 Points!
Set your goals for 9/14 - 9/20 to get rewarded with up to a 800 Point bonus!
Coupon printing is NOT on the list! Yeah!!:bouncer
Am I the only one who just noticed this??
When you upload a receipt for In-Store Deals, and it's not approved, down at the bottom right is a place to click on to have the receipt reviewed by them. You don't have to take the extra steps to send them a help ticket.
I just noticed that today.
Bonus email, worth 5 points and counts to 'Discover': 'Limited time -- earn Double Points for printing coupons!'
LOL.........I went to Search and Earn and typed in "I only need 10 points!"
Response.........
:lol:lolQuote:
Congratulations!
Your search just earned you 9 points
:busted
That's hysterical!
Fortunetly, I found a reciept that I hadn't uploaded yet, and was able to get the rest of the points I needed to complete the daily goal.
That was about the 5th search I had done last night, and was getting tired of trying to get those last 10 points. I thought 'what the heck...lets see what happens' and I entered that. lol
What's the purpose of the "Quality Score" for YourSurveys.com??
Isn't that pretty much the way it works for other survey companies, but without the points?? (You give good answers, you get more surveys. Bad answers, less surveys)Quote:
Every panelist is assigned a Quality Score, which increases for positive behavior (detailed, thoughtful responses) and decreases for negative (speeding and incorrect responses). Panelists with poor scores will be blocked from future survey participation, ensuring that our clients are receiving the highest quality data from respondents.
A higher Quality Score ensures more surveys are available to you. You are also eligible to participate in exciting and engaging new survey initiatives.
I'm up to 150 pts with them.......big deal. lol. What's it mean??:shrug
OK, Mypoints has made some changes very quietly. In the past, at least once a month for a week, you'd get double points for printing coupons. IT never happened in August and not so far in September.
On the "watch" page, lately I have a bunch of things to watch but some are not available. For example, the one link with the guy on the laptop that credits as "earn points from discover" is always there but usually only works once or twice and some days it never works at all. But he never rolls off when he is invalid. Today, I have 12 links listed and 10 are invalid. I refresh the page but they are still there and still invalid.
Probably some other weird stuff going on I haven't noticed, too.
No. That's what's weird. I never agreed to their terms, but I'm able to take their surveys. Some days they ask me to agree to them collecting my information, and some days they don't.
Somehow I gotten to a score or 110 on YourSurveys but I stopped doing them at all. They never credited. Not the 5 points for trying nor the value of the survey. I was forever taking screen shots and emailing off to Mypoints for help. When that pages shows up, I just close it. They never, ever worked.
I signed in to Mypoints this morning, and right away that screen pops up that says "Congrats...you made your daily goal''..
(or what ever it says).
I checked my account, and see that overnight I got credited 139 points for Breyers Ice Cream purchase! Woohooo!!
Too bad I didn't actually purchase any, cause I could really go for some! LOL:rofl:
No idea where that credit came from!
