We are keeping it low key - staying cool inside (hot and humid today) and having no big food fest :) Usually I like potato salad, but I would be the only one eating it - same with coleslaw and deviled eggs (Bill doesn't like any of those). So he had brats with mustard, and I had leftover BBQ ribs. Saving the chilled watermelon for later. Wondering if the downtown fireworks are going to get rained on tonight.
I stayed home today. My dads bday is tomorrow so I'll be going down there for cookout.
We had a bit of rain earlier....not sure if it's going to rain tonight or not. If it does, that's ok. There's a carnival nearby next week, and they have great fireworks that last about half hour. I can see them from my front step.
My husbands birthday is today. We decided instead of going to a picnic, we would get a free buffet at the Chinese buffet. They give you a free buffet on your birthday/ So we went there and pigged out! There will be fireworks nearby but I don't feel like walking in the heat and humidity
