Last night I was looking at and liking some old posts, then decided to update my profile information. I changed my email address, among other things. I was temporarily locked out of the board, and finally tonight, I found an email in my Spam folder to verify my address change. I thought that I would have to verify, but since I changed the info in the middle of the night, I guess the verification email didn't get sent until sometime this afternoon. Phew! I was feeling cut off after having been more active these past few months. I couldn't contact an admin with a question about it because everything had been set to 'Private' until I verified. EEEK! Glad to be back in action.
Kay...all you had to do was let me know. :D
Good coupons are hard to find but they are out there I use coupons.com and signup for newsletters for the products I use most and sent e-mail or better yet letters to companies sending them UPC's of what I use, I get quite a few that way. I've not done so bad with printable, sale cycles and now I've joined Ibotta, in 3 weeks I've earned $61 but my pantry and freezer are low and we are open to trying new things. We stayed home a lot this winter due to the weather and illness, I'm glad we keep a well stocked pantry and freezer, my husband always wondered if I was stocking up for Armageddon and with all the snow and cold it felt like it. I need to pull everything out and check for dates and get it reorganized. Most trips to the store this winter were for bread and milk, the nice thing about Almond milk is the very long expiration dates. But I hate the taste of bread that has been in the refrigerator unless you use it for toast or grilled cheese.
I agree on the bread. Usually give our old bread to our pigs or chickens. If we cant get out for bread, I make a loaf of homemade. Coupons just aren't what they used to be. I had a coupon "binder" back "in the day" but it just kind of took on a life of its own. Now I keep the ones that I know I can use.
I recently started using Ibotta. A couple of the products I did really well on was Ragu Simply Sauce. Target had it on sale for $1.61 a jar, I found .75 coupons and wish I had printed more and Ibotta gave .75 for every jar up to 5 and reloaded it. So I spent .11 a jar, wish I had some more .75 coupons. They also had $1.00 off a jar of olives, I went into CVS for a few things and they had Olives on clearance for $1.29, so .29 olives. I'm going to look into Checkout 51. I'm up to $81 in Ibotta and have cashed out $60 so far to my paypal account.
That's great! Congrats.
