OH I KNOWE THIS ONE!! FOr once LOL....put a few small cups with a little water and a drop of dish soap, they swarm to it and drown....HTH :) They are such a PAIN!
yup... i agree with the dishsoap...specially overnite. make sure you leave no food of anykind uncovererd.
I had an awful time with those during the summer. I tried everything and nothing worked. I finally had to buy those foggers and I haven't had a problem with them since. The only thing is you have to leave your house for four hours.
Bucket with soapy water and even a light over the top of it at night for light and heat will help them to get drowned a little faster.............But of course Goober ya should of put fruit in the refridge to start off with..........LOL...............:) :)
I thought it was just me that had this problem as well -- I did a good house cleaning, left some dish soap out in a cup of water and bought a few fly traps and I am glad to say I am now nat free. HTH. :)
I know..but I had the apples in the garage before I went to the funeral, when I got back I threw them out but the nats stayed.....Quote:

anyone know how this works?
I tried the soap and water thing and also placing a bowl of vinegar covered with saran wrap underneath a night light. I poked the holes in the top of it but when I got up the next day not one of the flies was in the bowl. lol I hung up that stick fly tape and some did stick to that but a lot didn't. Eventually I bought the foggers and haven't had a problem since.
I had to do the same thing. they have foggers now where you only have to be out of the house for 1 hr plus the 30 mins. to air out the house.Quote:
