Ok, I'm off to get all my hair cut off!! :p I'll post a pic when I get back. Hopefully the pic won't have to go in vent/whine! It's way past the middle of my back & if you read about a hairstylist beating in Phoenix, you'll know she f@cked it up, LOL! Wish me luck!

I did the same thing about 5 months ago...was to the top of my a$$, and chopped it to the shoulders. It felt soooo good. I wish you (and your hair stylist) good luck. PS: My mom is in Phoenix, I am sure that she would bail ya out (if needed)...lol
i was going to cut my hair, but if i wait until the end of the year, it'll be long enough to donate to locks of love (10 in). I don't want to cut too much off lol. My sis only has two more inches to go.
Good Luck! My hair was past my waist and I had it all cut off. I liked it being long but I kept it pulled back out of my face all the time.:rolleyes: So I just went for it and now I love it! Its right at my collar bone and so much easier to mess with.

I'm not getting my hair cut until i'm 30. Mine's about 3 inches above my butt. I hope you like it hippie! I cut mine off when I was 19 and it took me 4 yrs to grow it out again. I just missed it!
i had them cut my hair to my chin when i was about 10 or so and the lady cut it to my ears. needless to say, i never went back
i cut off 17 INCHES, last summer right after my great-grandpa passed away:( it was way passed my butt, and i cut it of to right below my shoulder blades and i love it!!! it only took me about 5-6 months to get my hair to grow about 2 inches above my butt! my hair grows way too fast!!! i hope you like your hair!!!!:D :p

Ok, all done!! 11 inches gone! and yes, I donated to Locks Of Love. They gave me hair pieces free when I had my chemo in 97 & 98. And DiSLoGiCk, that was part of my problem, I shaved underneath last year, cuz my hair is so thick, now that bottom layer was almost to my shoulders, and the rest was way long. A guy named Julio cut it, after serving me a Mocha-caramel frappuchino, and did a really good job. I was kinda scared, cuz he didn't know much english, I was afraid he wouldn't understand what I wanted. So when I stepped out of the salon, it looked great, but after walking for 3 blocks, waiting half hour on a bus, then walking 3 more blocks home, it doesn't look that great now! It's about 110 out. (must GET ANOTHER TRUCK soon!) DH hasn't seen it yet. :eek: He loves my long hair & washed it for me & stuff, but he said he wouldn't mind if I cut it. It was shoulder length when we started dating.

You were lucky with the foreign guy. I took my mother to Supercuts and a foreign guy cut her hair. I told him to cut about two inches just to get rid of the split ends but he misunderstood and cut off four inches. My mother is 94 so she was really scared. She thought he was going to shave her head bald. He got out the shaver to tidy up her neck and she thought here goes.
She cried all the way home. I told my husband, it doesn't matter how old a woman gets, don't mess with our hair.
My sil shaved her dad's head at our house and my mother saw her do it so my hubby was kidding her before she went to Supercuts if she was going to get it shaved off.
Needless to say foreign guy didn't last long. He was not understanding anyone and making them mad.

Just don't watch! I'm getting mine next week, but still not sure who I'm going to get to do it. Do you know of any good places to get one?? It's a heart, with barbed wire around it, squeezing it a little, with a few drops of blood. It says "Fly" in the middle of the heart. I'm getting it on my ankle, and have the barbed wire go all the way around my ankle. I always said I'd never get a guys name tattoed on me, but that's his last name, & mine too, so if anything happens, I'll have MY last name on my ankle, LOL!:)

I had hair down to my waist and didn't know about Locks of Love and now it is short! Hubby's hair just may be a little shorter than mine .. lol. But, I love it and don't have the patience to grow it out or else I would dontate!

I cut all mine off recently (It's now to my shoulders! ACK) cuz I got pi$$ed off at someone... ugh, revenge turned on me I think. I want my long hair back!!! LOL
I don't miss it yet, it's amazing how much lighter my head feels without all that hair! :p
