I know you can archive them, not sure about the email thing.
Try asking in the at&t forums
All they can tell me is that I can send a copy to another phone number/voicemail. I cant send the copy to my email.
Ok, Is there a FREE voicemail service that will email the voicemails to me? I can send a copy to the voicemail service if they will then email them to me.
That's not right... I have at&t cell phone service and I can save a voicemail to the archives if I want to delete it from my Phone.. It SHOULD give you that option... Weird
I CAN save it in the archives, but it will only "save" for a certain length of time. I need to save these voicemails forever, if possible.
OK I think I may have a solution. I don't know if it will work but if you're desperate enough...
Do you have a mic for your pc? Because the only way I can figure out how you can save it is put the voice mail on speaker and record it with windows media player.. I looked around for a free voice mail services but those went out with the dinosaurs and free isps....
I googled and found this, maybe something on here will help you out.

maybe you can put it on speaker phone and hold it up to a mini tape player
Let me tell you what I did.......I was listening to a voice mail INCOGNITO and wanted to play it at anytime to someone else so put it on speaker and recorded on another phone- so the same should work if you put it up to your micropone to record it on you r pc
I have AT&T and after 14 days that is it. If I listen to an archived message and try to re archive it, it will say the message will be archived for X amount of days, however many days is left in the 14 days. Used to be I could archive it forever.
Umm this is a 2 year old post = looks like a spammer bumped it up - I hope she found a way to save since I am sure it is gone by now. LOL
