HELP!!! How do u remove kool aid stains from beige carpet??

my son is trying to get red kool aid stains out of his beige carpet,he has tryed eveything,he just went to the store to get oxi clean,,any other ideas would be appreaciated,,it just isnt coming up

Spot Shot spray...it's in a blue can with an orange lid. I use it on just about everything!!

Yep two words SPOT SHOT...it even removed red nail polish and paint from my carpets

I have the same problem with red kool aid stains. I have tried everything and I can not get them out. All other stains come up without a problem, but the red ones refuse to budge :(

When my kids get red kool-aid on my beige carpet I use Lysol All Purpose Cleaner (I always buy the lemon scented one) and it comes right up. Now if the stain has been there (set it) it doesn't always work.. Also oxy-clean will work but only if you just spilled it and you get the water real hot and pour it right on the stain.

I swear by Lysol though to remove stains .. with 2 kids, 4 cats and a dog, it works miracles.

Oh, and I don't dilute it. I just spray it on and scrub away.

We dont ever allow RED kool aid for that reason LOL all the other colors but RED!! GOOD LUCK!

you could try peroxide, just straight from the bottle, i have never tried it on kool aid but i know it gets blood stains out of jeans.

There is a new product out called Cloroc oxi something or other. They were demostrating it at the store and they were taking out blood, kool-aid, coffee, and soda. I was watching and it was taking everything out.

BUT JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE AND HE SAID HE EVEN TRYED SOME BLEECH ON A FEW SPOTS AND IT STILL WONT COME UP :eek: :eek: IAM TOTALLY LOST ON IDEAS,NOW THE POOR GUY SAYS HE MAY HAVE TO PATCH THE CARPET!! THANX FOR ALL THE TIPS! EVERYONE! I DID TELL HIM ABOUT TRYING LYSOL AND PEROXIDE,I TOLD HIM WHAT DOES HE HAVE TO LOOSE AT THIS POINT! HE SAYS HE WELL TRY TOMORROW BUT HES EXHAUSTED AT THIS POINT,THANX!ALL!!
