    Hurricane Laura

Louisiana Inundated With 9 Feet of Storm Surge. God, I can't imagine anyone wanting to stay knowing what was coming. I've never been down south, I don't know what a hurricane is like, but I think I would have booked out of there if I could. Unsurvivable is what they said yesterday, to me nothing is worth more than life, my families, mine, if I had pets, theirs. And yet some people stayed, like the fires in CA, I would run as far, as fast as my fat little legs would take me. Prayers for all those in the path of both of these events.
Keep your hands to yourself, leave other people's things alone, and be kind to one another.

Jolie Rouge is in Louisiana, and marked herself 'Safe' on FB. It seems to have landed west of NOLA and Baton Rouge. Have been seeing some of the damage photos that are being shared in various areas.
