On Sunday, I had to run a few errands so I dashed through the bank's drive up ATM & grabbed some cash.
I wanted to buy a paper from Dollar Tree & see if dog food was on sale at Target (same strip mall).
As I pulled into the parking lot, I saw 7 young adults taking pictures in the Lot by some trees. The young men were all wearing suits, with one of them was taking the pics & one of the girls was wearing a white dress.
I went to them & asked them if it was a special occasion. They looked at me with expressions that said "what is wrong with this woman?", or "Why is this lady approaching us?", but they all looked wary. The photographer told me that they just got married. I handed the bride & groom $50, and they were all shocked.
Everyone started smiling & thanking me. I figured my husband & I could waste that on a dinner out, why not help out a newly married couple.

We went out to dinner last week - casual, but the opportunity to dress up a little (I put on earrings and a necklace, lol). We hadn't been to that place in a while, and we had a great waitress and a wonderful time. She admired my silver earrings because they moved so nicely and looked light - so I took them off and gave them to her. Everyone should have the pleasure of owning a nice handcrafted pair of silver earrings She was delighted and couldn't believe I meant it, but when I assured her that I did, she went to the back to put them on.

Twins attach letters to Santa to balloons – and stranger 650 miles away finds them and brings them gifts

These 4-year-old twins released balloons with letters to Santa. Then a stranger found one – nearly 650 miles away – and fulfilled every wish on their Christmas list

I belong to several FB groups that sell crystals, minerals, and gift items with stone. I was purchasing several items from a mother-daughter team, and was about $45 into it, when I ran across another item that caught my interest. It was a paw print cut into a heart-shaped banded fluorite stone for $25. I commented on the photo, saying it would be a great gift for my friend whose dog passed a few weeks ago - but I wanted to check to see if I thought I could budget that into the purchase. I got busy and lost track of it - couldn't remember what group I was viewing. By the time I figured it out, their show was finished, and I thought someone else grabbed it. So I paid my invoice and hoped I could get it another time.
When I received my box, I unwrapped the carefully wrapped packets inside - and there was one extra bag inside, labeled 'Our gift to your friend.' I cried when I saw the paw-print heart inside. That act of kindness from West Virginia to Ohio, and now to Texas, cast a wide ripple. He is going to love it - wish I could be there to see his face!
    Be Happy Now.
