Thread: So it's been a while....

I can be found at FB mostly. I woke up really early this morning and thought I'd check out my old stomping grounds and see who was still hanging around.

As for how things have changed.... the 3 oldest kids are on their own now. I've got 2 grand babes now and 2 of my 4 girls are married. I still have 2 kids at home; 1 is a Sophomore in high school and the other is in 8th grade. My 16 yr old ice skates and is in 2 dance teams and my son is a fencer. As for the hubby and I we just celebrated our 22nd anniversary. Leo is #1 in the US and 19th in the world at paralympic fencing. And I am the office manager at PDX Fencing.

Oh, and 3 1/2 yrs ago we moved to Oregon.

I come by every now and then. Life has been good. Divorced, my 3 boys are growing up on me. they are 19, 15 and 12.

Aug 28, my 12 yr old recieved 3rd degree burns to 40% of his body in a gasoline fire. He was discharged from the hospital on Nov 6th and then had more skin graft surgery and scar release on his neck, armpit and elbow on Nov 20th. Hope thats it for a little bit. He is doing good, just alot of therapy. My oldest got married Nov 8th and I am expecting my first grandchild in April. We get to find out what we are having next week! I'm excited! My 15 y/o is a homebody, but really into his music.. he's just learning, but doing sooo good. i'm proud of him. Good to see some of the older crowd is still hanging around.

I come in here every so often to see who's still here. Other than that I'm usually on Facebook. Still living in Houston (probably will for the rest of my life). Aggie's been diagnosed w/PTSD, Gulf War Syndrome along with a few other things. I'm in the process of getting a new hip (hopefully early next year). Broke my hip a year ago last month. If anyone remembers Hot Toddie (Toy Pom.) he passed away in 13. We still have a brood of 4 leggers. 4 dogs, 2 cats. Hope everyone is doing well. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

We moved from Memphis back up home because of my husband's illness. He needed the time with his family. He passed away this past March, so as much as I hate NW Tennessee, I do not regret the move. My son graduated Nursing school and has moved back to Nashville. It is great that he is closer to home. My daughter just started Grad school and planning on being a Nurse Practitioner. Besides the other nitnoid everyday crap, not much else is happening.
