Today I am thankful for being a member of Lions Club International and that I am able to spend time with some of my friends from around the District as we gather for our quarterly Cabinet Meeting.

Thankful for this thread Today I am thankful that I have a man who adores me, and doesn't mind that I check in with my ex, who is out of the hospital and rehab (he had been in ICU for almost two weeks after his emergency surgery, and was regaining his strength and balance).
    Be Happy Now.

I am thankful it was a beautiful day and my son and I got to take a 45 minute walk. I am also thankful my son like the chicken strips that I bought for him at Aldi's. It was way cheaper than buying them at KFC or Convenient.

I am thankful for my church family. It is such a joy to go to church and know that people there really care. My church has so many local missions to help people here in our community, that it's hard to list them all. We help mothers by providing clothes, diapers, sometimes formula or furniture, all for free. We keep a household full of basic needs furniture to help someone. There is a prison ministry. A group goes to the middle school every morning to greet students as they come in the door (praise God that the admin lets them). There are more. Sometimes it's hard to grasp all the missions my church is involved in.

That is so wonderful! It gives me faith that our church can grow and hopefully be active like yours is.

Laissez les bon temps rouler! Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.** a 4 day work week & sex slaves ~ I say Tyt for PRESIDENT! Not to be taken internally, literally or seriously ....Suki ebaynni IS THAT BETTER ?

I am thankful for my on-line friends. We may have never met face-to-face, and we may not talk much directly, but I like to see the posts from the same people on the forum that I have been seeing posts from for years.
