What are you thankful for? What good things are happening for you now?
I know we have a thread in vent & whine entitled, "Gripes worthy of a post but not an entire thread......." So what are we thankful for? Anything good going on in your life right now you want to share?
Personally, I'm thankful that I have a husband who works hard to support his family and who would do anything to make sure I'm happy. There are so many "buts" that I could add here, but I want to keep this a positive thread so I'll stop with that.
I'm happy I have a house, food on the table, my kids are healthy and we have money coming in each week.
WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE

I'm thankful for my family and all that God has given me in life. My daughter got married and bought a house this year and my son started his second year of college. We are all healthy for the most part and happy.

I am thankful that my ex is on the mend - and thankful that I went to visit him earlier than planned, so I could encourage him to go to the emergency room. He was just transferred out of the ICU yesterday, and still has some serious healing ahead after his abdominal surgery, but I'm hoping he'll get through this quickly.
And I'm thankful that my fiance doesn't mind that I check up on my ex

I am thankful that I have all that I do. I am able to pay the bills and have a little extra. I am thankful for my aches and pains because it could be worse. I am thankful that I have a great attitude that allows me to get down from time to time and still be able to lift myself up.

I'm thankful for our garden and all the good food it has given us. I'm thankful that we can get our teeth fixed without going into (a lot) of debt. (Care Credit is a Godsend) I'm thankful for the changes both my husband and I have made over the years and the peace and contentment that come from those changes. I'm thankful that my youngest son has been able to go through his problems without falling apart, that my oldest son has a job and a daughter who loves him, that my daughter is finally with her husband and they're happy with the move they've made in the last year...and that they are all reasonably healthy and happy. Thankful for each day that comes to me and that I can afford all the RX I have to take...and that they all work beautifully!!! Just blessed by all this and so much more.

I'm grateful that this thread is here I'm grateful for being able to celebrate the birthday - today - of my new/old sweetie, Bill (we had been friends for many, many years before our relationship changed and grew deeper). I'm thankful that I have family and friends who supported me when I got divorced and moved away to Ohio to be with him.

i have many things to be thankful for, but my husband told me something he did the other day that makes me even *more* thankful for him. He travels for a living, (we live in western PA) and he was in San Jose, California last week. he had just gone out to lunch at a restaurant he had never tried. he got a steak sandwich and fries, it was really big and so good he said! he couldnt finish his sandwich so he took half to take back to his room. on his walk back to his room, he encountered a homeless man begging for money. (which is nothing new to him, all of the big cities he goes to, he encounters them all the time) so he said "i'm sorry i dont have any", (his usual response), but then he offered the man the rest of his sandwich, which was still warm. He told me the man was so grateful to get food, he just got so excited he was going to eat that night! it makes me so happy that such a small act of kindness made such a difference in someones life.
