Why do the SPAMMERS head for old threads?
I notice a lot of posts that are years old get posted in my newbies who are spammers. They must have to dig really hard to find them, but I have not figured out why?
Anyone know why?

You mean they post in threads that are years old ?? Maybe they think we will look at the date of the original thread and think they have been here a while ?? Maybe they are just really really bored...

yes...I would say bored...
Wonder if they do a search for a trigger word and it brings them to this site so then they post and bump the thread?

yes, they google certain words, and it leads them to this site and certain threads. I don't think they really pay attention to the date.
What bugs me, is when someone here responds to it, asking why they bumped up an old thread, when they did the same thing. lol
