    Those are the donuts I would have as a kid. The old ladies at the school (German/slovick/hungarian) would make them in the kitchen only at certain functions. They are too die for!

    Please share your recipe as I would love to attempt at making them myself.

    Laissez les bon temps rouler! Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.** a 4 day work week & sex slaves ~ I say Tyt for PRESIDENT! Not to be taken internally, literally or seriously ....Suki ebaynni IS THAT BETTER ?

    I thought they were Slovak but I wasn't 100% sure.

    Maybe she could have a teaching session & teach us her recipe. Isn't that the best way to learn an old recipe?!?!?!!?

    A friend of mine gave up hard alcohol and meat for Lent (wine was still okay). He also gave up about ten pounds at the end of Lent
    Be Happy Now.

    It is said that it take 30 days to break a habit ... so Lent is a good time for "fresh starts"...
