    Smile Guess what i got?

Most of you guys know that since june of last year our accounts were frozen due to hubby spending all the savings we had before the divorce,
divorce final dec7...remarried jan 17...sheesh didn't even let the ink dry...
Lol! Well, i've had no cable, tv, or even a phone since he cut it off. Well
he has to pay to get it reconnected, still he hasn't. Anyway, i promised jesse
that i would make all the snacks for the superbowl party...which i've already started on...i thought they were gonna take the food to another
apt down the street and i was to watch the grandkids since i had no
tv...plenty of dvds and vhs tapes...no problem. Well anyways jesse didn't
come back home til 11:45 last night, i was getting worried because he
always comes home directly from work and checks on me around 10:15.

You know what my baby did? He went to walmart and got me one of those convertor boxes, and the strip antenna and now i get 65 channels, including basic cable channels! He paid over $80 for the two, (which he
really doesn't have, since he pays child support) i raised my boy right...
Anyway he said, surprise momma...you really didn't think we were going
to make you do all those snacks and leave you alone did ya? Lol they are
all gonna be here to watch the game! I dunno football, but as soon as the cursing starts...i'm gonna tell them to shut up before i start kicking them out, then take my grand sons to my bedroom and watch a few family
movies, with our own snacks...but wasn't that sweet of jesse...i never have to pay cable again! Jesse also made everyone pitch in $10 for the
snacks! Not a dime from my pocket, and they still have to clean up after my mess in the kitchen! Sometimes i don't know what i'd do without him.
He even quit his truck driving job so that he could check on me daily. He
now sells guns at gander mountain, getting a decent wage + commission.
He sells on average 4 guns and rifles a day...some as much as $2600 each.

    Say yay! For jesse!

    Smiles.

ha! You guys kept my sanity, son casey bought me a cricket broadband for the internet...searched for freebies non stop, tried new recipes, i love to cook, my grandfather owned a restaurant, and he handed it down to my mother, and she put me to work making the toast at age 6...i remember it always startled me when it popped up...but was a fun startle. I did my crossword puzzle from the daily newspaper...using a huge magnifying glass...but it was mainly finding and posting freebies...and delight when i know someone can actually use them! As for the party
tomorrow...please show up, you will be the vip of the party, plus you can help me pick on all the 23 to
25 yr olds..lol they know how i am...i love to tease them, i've watched them grow for 5 years,
and each of these kids have come to ask for advice privately...those secrets will go to the grave
with me...and no i won't even share with their parents, unless i feel the person is homicidal or suicidal
comes from a long ago ministry...i did this to open up a soup kitchen in north chicago....below zero
temps, and the other soup kitchen was in waukegan, il i know if you map it out, it doesn't seem
far...but you try to walk in sub zero temps. Some i let stay overnight at the kitchen, well there was
only so much room, i'd take the rest home with me since they had there own bedroll...we could let them make
their beds in the family room, and the living room...not siupid, i slept on the couch, and had my rottwieler
next to me. They had to ask if they could use the restroom...if one got up out of their bedroll.
Ruffles would keep them at bay until i gave them approval...added security... I also had a tazor.
Not saying homeless people are dangerous, just sometimes desperate.

Carrolin, you are an incredible woman. You give me inspiration with your posts. I know I surely appreciate all of your freebie posting. I have got more since you started posting freebies than I have in years. If it wasn't so far I'd take you up on coming to that party! We are in the middle of a snow storm here. I hope it goes to all of our BBS friends that have been wanting it.

well, thank you! Since i broke my knee and shin...i needed to find away to share...it fills my
soul, plus this board was dying. Jolie rouge kept up with her parts of forums, and i decided
i could do the freebies...had not much to do and besides, i was helping someone...shortly it
became a hobby of sorts. But you know what? I get a lot of support from the members, and
3lilpigs...she always helps me to put it in the right places, or fixes my posts...and members
will also remind me to put in the link, nicely, or tell me when the the offer is over, so that
i'd edit the post and put **over** so as not to waste peoples time...then 3lilpigs will edit
the subject line and put **over** you can't edit the subject line..only a mod. So see i get alot
of help... It's a community effort.

I have to agree with BeanieLuvr I have gotten a lot more freebies since you took over posting them. It was almost like the freebies had stopped but I think they just moved a lot more to Facebook. So Thanks and have a good time with all those young guys. And GO 49er's!! Yes I am a Dolphin fan but my NFC team has always been the 9'ers - mostly due to Montana back in the day.

You & your son seem to be very good people, Carrolin. I hope you have a wondeful time with your party tomorrow. Think of me since I'll starting my work shift at 5:00 PM instead of watching the game
