I've been sick since Wed so we haven't had any real meals around here, hubby has been sick since Mon.
I was going to make Corned Beef and cabbage for St Paddys day but that didn't happen. I had a can of Tomato soup with crackers for dinner instead. But once I'm well it will be corned beef and cabbage.

Thanks, I couldn't get an appt with my doc but I am able to get in with one of his associates. Not sure what this was when it started but now I think it is a sinus infection. My face hurts on both sides and my back teeth on the top are hurting.

Thanks, I have a sinus and upper respiratory infection. Wobblypops when I said my face hurts on both sides I was referring to my cheek areas. But yes, my glands are sore some. Hopefully the antibiotics will start working fast and I will get over this crap.

Eyore - hope you feel better soon. I remember once that my upper teeth were hurting, but found out it was my sinuses creating the aching sensation :P

Wobblypops - I received a few of the popcorn "kits" with my popper (buttery 'solid' oil, popcorn salt, kernels) which are okay, but my gifter said she uses coconut oil with regular popcorn with good results, and I could season it the way I liked it - and then sent me her kettle corn recipe The kit makes a HUGE amount of popcorn - almost too much for two people...but we manage to eat it all, LOL

No Z-Pack, she put me on Amoxicillian. I think it is starting to help some though with only a couple of pills in me now.
For some reason docs have rarely put me on a Z-pack but for updated knowledge when I was in with my husband the doc mentioned that there is now a warning on Z-Packs. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-204_162-...thms-for-some/

    Thanks magickay.

You should be feeling better soon eyore...but don't forget to take all your antibiotics even
when you feel better. The reason being is that it could come back and you'll wind up on another
round of meds and believe it or not, you can become immune to them.

I am making beef stew tonight, served with rolls and i found a bakery that makes a sugar free cheese cake.

    Smiles.

Thanks Carrolin, I do plan on taking all the antibiotics, I just want this to be gone.
