I love having leftovers! I had a BOGO coupon for Bob Evans so we ate there. I had grilled chicken, baked potato, a roll, and salad with ranch dressing. I felt sorry for the servers and cooks because they got slammed because of the coupons. About everyone I saw had one.

Yeah, I'm a big leftover fan, especially since I just can't seem to cook just enough for two! (hmmm or maybe I do it on purpose so I don't have to cook EVERY day?)

Well, my friend and I were supposed to gout of town today and not be home in time for me to fix dinner for hubby so he was going to fix himself some eggs (today is a no meat day for him.) Well weather changed our plans and since I don't have any fish thawed (and it wouldn't be by the time we were ready to eat at 4) we'll still have some scrambled eggs, english muffins, maybe some fresh oranges for hubby. When it comes to food, he's not picky....so easy to cook for!

We had a dinner at church so I had a little bit of everything. I don't know why but eating food other people make always tastes better than my own.

hi! I hear that!!! I don't know if it's because they are doing all the cooking, wider selection, or because we taste
while we cook...i went thru this dilemma about 10 yrs. Back...do you believe to break down this theory, i actually
made my recipe that was given to a certain patron of the church, left it home, so that i could compare w/ hers later.

I then tried trusted fail proof recipes, without tasting...then went back to re-tasting everything, and not cooked
all day! My results...theirs tasted better, but not once i had to walk over to the microwave to reheat, not once
when i didn't do tastings during cooking...then all the choices of pot-luck...that''s like candy store galore!, everyone
brings their best, and it becomes more of a smorgasboard. I guess we woman just want to be treated as well as we
treat others. I know i give thanks!

    Smiles.

Fresh carrots, green beans and brown rice with hamburger 'steak.' It was simple but pretty tasty.
