Question about posting on FB...
My son is a senior in HS and has applied for numerous scholarships..When he wins them I congratulate him by posting in my status..Do you think posting about everyone is to much that people are like oh no not again..or is it ok since you are proud, if you dont like my status's then hide em?
I just do not want to offend people by bragging and being happy...But he has worked his butt off to get where he is..
Thoughts????

Well, my son is a sgt first class in the Army, serving overseas and has been in the military for 17 years. I am damn proud of his achievements and successes!! If folks don't like that you post your pride in your son, then they don't have to read it! As moms it is our job to express that pride as long as that isn't all we talk about, y'know? My son's name isn't forever on my lips but when he gets promoted or is doing a new job and well, then I want folks to know that I'm proud!

It's YOUR facebook page.....post what YOU want.
If people don't like it, then they don't have to look at it.
Who cares what others think anyhow.

You are proud of your son and should share it. I can't image your real friends would not want to hear about his accomplishments. Congrats on him getting scholarships. I know how much they help. I say post away and if some don't like it then they don't have to look.

I agree, post it. I keep up with my nieces and nephews that way and I like to hear of things they accomplished. Better than to see all teh drinking parties they went too---I see lots of that. Plus, future employers go on facebook to check out people and they will see it. That can't hurt.

Well screw 'em if they don't like it... that's just stupid! Buuuut... after reading that lengthy facebook article Jolie posted yesterday or whenever, I would make sure not to link those posts to his page... if the ppl GIVING the scholarships see him getting so many they may pass him over for someone else... or maybe now I'm just too paranoid... either way, damn right you should be proud and anyone who would complain about it probably isn't really your friend anyways.
