Lynn as someone who has undergone numerous tests & biopsies I would tell you it is better to have someone with you & not need them rather than not have someone with you & need them. The moral support is priceless.
Let us know how you make out. If you need hystrectomy advice just ask. Hugs!

my biggest worry now, is WHY its enlarged... 2 easily fixed, and of course the 3rd is cancer.. i haven't been to a dr in over 10 years... so kinda scares me.. but trying not to worry till i have something to worry about, cause with what i can find on the interent, all my symptoms fit one of the easy ones.

My best advice is to stop reading things on the internet. I made myself & everyone around me crazy by doing that.
I had my hystrectomy when I was 40. My 1st doctor thought I was having issues with getting "older" not the fact that my normally flat abdomen went to me looking like I was 5 months pregnant in 2 months. I went to 3 different doctors until I found one that made me calm.

well don't guess there will be an ultrasound/mammogram or hysterectomy... the hospital just callled an says i have to pay my entire deductible upfront... no way i can do that, so i guess i just suffer. I GIVE UP!!

Wow, I have never heard of a hospital doing that. Is there another hospital you could go to? Maybe talk to them about a payment plan if nothing else.
That really stinks.

they either want it all or a post dated check.... so i'll just wait till i get my check from withdrawing my retirement, then maybe try again

I'm sorry Lynn they are being like that. I hate that you are having to use your retirement money for this, but I understand you don't have to much of a choice.
Hope things work out for the good in the end.

Please don't put it off any longer than you have to. My biopsy found precancerous spots that had I let go for much longer would have turned in to full blown cancer. Also, call the hospitals finance department... the only time I have been told I had to pay in full up front was for elected procedures. Tell them you need to make a payment plan, they should work with you.

I wish you luck hun! I had stage 3 cancer about 15 years ago and I tell you it was the scariest thing to go through. I am terrified every year when I have to have my annual. In fact I am almost due and am going to go to a specialist instead of my regular doctor. They think I am going through menopause and I need some answers, not just birth control pills.

I was fortunate mine was only stage 0 but I still had to deal woth post treatment. Your advice is spot-on. The sooner the better.
