I'm going to be Grumpy!
My husband and I will be welcoming our first grandchild (a girl) in early May 2012.
Though we are pretty young to be having grandkids (40 years young), we are excited. I've already decided I want to be called "Grumpy" and I'm trying to talk the husband into "Doc" or "Grampy" We're still choosing names but so far Sophie Marie is the preference. Have a great Xmas everyone!
It's only kinky the first time.

Merry Christmas. I am going to welcome my 1st grandchild the end of next month. The kids call me Grammy to him in utero so thats what it will be I'm sure.

Before one of my granddaughters was born I asked my daughter what she preferred her child call me. She said Grammy but I have never been able to refer to myself that way. Both sets of my grandparents were called Grandma & Grandpa and then their last names so that's what was ingrained in me. But I like being called grandma so it's all good.
