Lol! Jasmine, no need hon...we post them here! At least i do, and i usually give advance notice. A lot
of people don't like, "liking" on facebook for some reason, but they don't realize that's how i get info,
they post it to my wall when a freebie is coming up, and i post it here because i like sharing, and it gives
me something to do while i'm in this darn wheelchair!
SMILES.

I don't find freebies on facebook but a lot of freebies say to click LIKE on their site for facebook and they will send you a sample. They want you to get the word out about them so putting it on your facebook page does that for them.

I am new to facebook, does hitting that like button, send away all your information and contacts of people of what you have on facebook?

Nope.hitting a like button does not send away all your info and contacts. One of the thing facebook does is to protect your privacy. By hitting a facebook like button, (1)it will send some basic info to that fanpage, such as your name; (2) facebook will post for you ONLY ONCE in your wall that you like "xxx" fanpage, so that all your friends will see your update;(3) you will receive feeds from that panpage. That's why Carrrolin said he gets freebies info on facebook. But of course, if you like too many fanpage, you will be flooded with feeds, LOL. So only like the fanpage you are interested in!
Not all freebies are free

CARROLIN, you've been on the boards so long you must have similar experiences of receiving too many freebies. I have not requested a freebie in years. It got to the point where DD was not interested in "what was in the box" and just tossed it aside, LOL. This at least five years ago and times have probably changed with the economy. I remember I had a stack of free tee-shirts in the extra bedroom and I still run across them because I use them as rags when they are no longer good enough to wear. I remember when Buddig cold cuts would give away tee shirts for minor league baseball teams. I received every single team plus extras of my favorites. Great quality tee shirts too. Loved these.
