When you can say it on national television anytime of the day, then it is not a cuss word.
Rudeness is the weak person's imitation of strength.

I don't agree with that. I just think national television lowered their standards and themselves. JMO

Well, tell them you guess they won't mind being called a cu** or a di*k....afterall, it's just anatomy. *Actually, I don''t like using those words, but certain people will only understand by communicating in this way.* Sounds like you are around toxic people......not healthy for you.

I told her if she doesn't think people would get upset about it, call her neighbor up and call her that and see how she feels. I can't believe some peoples way of thinking sometimes.

People that excuse bad behavior and bad language are short in the smarts department. Although I have been known to swear a blue streak, I try not to make it part of my every day conversation, replacing exclamatory words with swear words. My husband stutters (as does my son) and they often, if not always use the F-word instead of other words. Drives me nuts!! Regardless of your intellectual level, it seems to me that you...and I do mean all of humankind could speak without resorting to nasty words and insulting nouns. I would absolutely be insulted in someone called me a derogatory name, regardless of the fact that it is a female dog...that is not how it is meant and intent is everything.

If I said it in front of my grandmother ... she'd wash my mouth out.... so yes, I'd consider it a "curse" word.

Well, generally speaking I do not think it's a curse word... but, that's cause I have fairly thick skin and I just don't care what most ppl call me... but I do disagree that if it's said on tv it's not a curse word... I absolutely detest GD and they say it all day and night... that does not make it ok or not a curse word.

It all boils down to context.

It may boil down to "context"... but it is amusing to note that the BBS filter ***'s it out ... so here it seems to be considered a curse word.
