Do you ever hear a song, they HAVE to listen to it a zillion times?

I just heard Audioslave "like a stone" (it came out in 02, where was I then) and now I can't stop listening to it.

Do you ever do that, hear a song, then have to listen to it a billion times?

I do it when I hear something I really like, I listen to it forever.

My fav song that I could listen to repeatedly is "Change" by the deftones... but, in the car when I like to bounce around when I'm driving I listen to "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas and "F**k You" by Cee Lo Green a lot... they're just fun little beats to car seat dance to... other than that though I'm a metal fan... don't listen to too much top hit music.

Yep, I know what you mean with a song but another thing is certain video clips. One that really busts me up no matter how many times I watch it John Candy and Steve Martin in Planes, Trains and Automobiles - Going the Wrong Way http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7N81H8KF9c LMAO all the time!!

    Yes, and lol
on the other hand, have you ever had a song forced upon you, to where you hate it, and ya wind
up catching yourself humming, and knowing the lyrics?....my grown kids do that to torture me,
saying "see it wasn't that bad after all!" butt heads!!! Yes, and then they can't seem to realize
why i can't sleep...it is stuck in my head!

I wore out 2 "Bat Out of Hell" tapes but I haven't found any music since that I will listen to like that...over and over and over, etc. I will ALWAYS love Handel's Messiah and had a tape of that, which I listened to when in the mood (didn't wait until Christmas) and Swan Lake. Every once in awhile I find a song I really like and will listen to it on the radio, volume way up or find it on Itunes and listen to it full volume when I'm alone but nothing has hit me like BOOH.

I don't think I've ever been obsessed by a *song*, but after the first time that I saw 'Phantom of the Opera' on stage, I bought the two-cassette sound track and probably played it for three years...yep, *years*.... I would listen to the radio in the morning on my commute, but if I didn't like the music, I'd push in the tape and start singing along. Still have the tapes somewhere, I think, but my current car has a CD player. For the majority of the past year or more, I played 'Texas Jukin' by Van Wilks and now have his 'Running from Ghosts' CD in for about three weeks I'll switch up the music for longer drives (more than an hour), but not so much for commuting (almost an hour).

I've worn out my favorite Bach tape--- If its not Barque don't play it! LOL I listen to a lot of rock from the '80's and 70's My fave song from then is "Born To Run" of course, when it comes on the radio I sing along with it, I know all the words!
