Anyone from Springfield Mass ??
Has anyone heard from our Mass BBS'ers ??
People in the northeast are more used to blizzards than tornadoes. But two powerful twisters struck the Springfield, Mass. area Wednesday, killing at least four people, flipping cars, and collapsing buildings.
Massachusetts Democratic Gov. Deval Patrick activated the National Guard and declared a state of emergency. He instructed residents to shelter in basements and bathrooms, and noted that one man was killed when his car turned over.

I saw posts from JKat on Facebook last night and she was not near where the tornadoes hit. She was actually responding to someone else asking her if she had seen the storms.

Awww Thanks for remembering me,how sweet.I'm ok and so is speedygirl.Luckily it didn't really cause too much damage where we both live.My husband had to go to Springfield today for something relating to work and it is still really bad there.We don't expect things like that to happen here so nobody was prepared.Thanks for thinking of us.

I'm glad to hear you both are ok. 
Thanks for letting us know. My husband said he heard the storm go through here that did all of the damage there. I slept through it.

This. Hi guys. As ilovecats said, thank you so much for thinking of us. That day was pretty frightening. The closest the tornandoes got to me was a little under ten miles away. Springfield is about 40 miles from me. Very scary stuff.
