Well, graduation is over...
and Justin's party is this Saturday. I really love planning for these types of things, but it makes it hard in deciding how much food to prepare when I don't know how many people are coming. I guess I could have done an RSVP, but it seems to me like a lot of people don't respond to those anyway.
I was very proud of myself during the graduation ceremony...I didn't cry once! Although I did tear up a little when he actually received his diploma. Now in the fall he's off to a local (about an hour away) college to study law enforcement. That makes me a bit nervous, hearing about all the police shootings lately. He eventually wants to move to a big city (a big change from our dinky town of about 2500 people) and work in homocide. I can't tell you how proud of him we are! Makes me feel so old, though, my first-born ready to leave the nest.

He's our oldest and then we have another son who will be going into 6th grade next year. If that child won't be the death of me with his ADD, I don't know what will be lol.
Congrats to your daughter graduating from 8th grade!
