    REAL Coke made with sugar

If you like Coca Cola made with sugar instead of corn syrup, now's the time to buy. To be kosher for Passover, real Coke (not diet) can't be made with corn syrup. So Coke makes the cola with either sugar beet or cane sugar. Go to the store and if you see Hebrew letters on the bottle cap, then its kosher for Passover

That is funny we were just talking at work last week about when they switched from cane sugar to HFC (high fructose corn syrup) when they started the "coke classic" after the "new coke" debacle. He said when they started classic coke production they never brought in the train car loads of cane sugar anymore.

Who makes the Throwback products with real sugar? Is it coke or pepsi? They aren't just for Passover.

It has to be Pepsi since Coke only uses cane sugar during Passover.

Or you can just get it from Mexico year round, their coke is made using Cane sugar. It taste a million times better than the one we get here in the states!

The Pepsi on the other hand is not better, I prefer the one here in the states with HFCS.

I agree, we buy Pepsi products made in Mexico, both the Pepsi and Mt Dew taste better. But if we get Coke Products we get the ones made here with HFCS.

Well i think you are right that Coke only uses cane sugar and it is an old tradition and coke has been using it for many years and i think it works better and i also prefer coke products than Pepsi. Its my choice.

The Coke in the US uses corn syrup, not real cane sugar.

The one in Mexico and 80% of the world does use cane sugar because its cheaper in their area.
