I love portabella mushrooms. We stopped at this place once that had grills set up outside and on thier menu was a grilled portabella mushroom sandwhich. It was the best tasting sandwhich I had ever had and all I got on it was cheese. I know it probably sounds gross but it was so tasty. The flavor reminded me of a steak seasoning that I use (Dale's Steak Seasoning). Well ever since then, I marinate the large portabella mushrooms in Dale's and will either grill them or put them in the oven for a bit with Dale's poured over them. So yummy!

I take the stems off but leave the cap whole. Then cook in butter in a skillet. I usually put it on a hamburger bun.
