Aggie's first wife's sisters name is Cocaine. I've never met her but seen photo's. She goes by Cokie. I also had a friend growing up who's brothers name was Bubba.

My maiden name is Rainey. Windy was a very popular name when I was born. I was Windy for 4 days til someone actally called me Windy Rainey and my parents changed my name, thank goodness.

Unusual name for a man Allison. That's Aggie's first name....on his birth certificate. Needless to say we have fun when the phone rings and someone asks for Allison.
Name for a new country song: If I'd Shot You Sooner, I'd Be Out of Jail by Now.

Jacqueline Danielle, a beautiful name, was shortened to Jack Daniels. Isn't that terrible.
A neighbor I had many years ago had 11 children. She started out naming them with T. First was Teresa, then came Todd, Ted, Tim , and then she said maybe that should be the end of the T's . But she had another and it couldn't be different so it was Tom. As she kept adding children she kept the T. She had all boys except for 2 girls. I can't remember the other's names.

    Oh wow, that's just mean!!

I've heard so many bizarre names, but the one I won't ever forget is Tetandianocee - "TEE-tan-dee-an-AH-see". It's really pronounced just the way it's spelled. She goes by "Tandy", but I imagine tackling that name as a child wasn't the easiest!

I just read this on facebook and it cracked me up and made me think of this thread....

    IDIOT SIGHTING
How would you pronounce this child's name?
    "Le-a"
    Leah?? NO
    Lee - A?? NOPE
    Lay - a?? NO
    Lei?? Guess Again.
This child attends a school in Kansas City, Mo.
Her mother is irate because everyone is getting her name wrong.
    It's pronounced "Ledasha".
When the Mother was asked about the pronunciation of the name, she said,
    "the dash don't be silent."
SO, if you see something come across your desk like this please remember
    to pronounce the dash.
If dey axe you why, tell dem de dash don't be silent.

I thought of this thread today while at work. We had a patient who's IM doc's first name is Pengywnne. What prompted her parents to name their DD that!
