Question Do you bake your bacon?

or fry it up in a pan? or microwave?

I learned years ago, from working in restaurants that the best way (for me) is baked in an oven.., plus with the use of aluminum foil, clean up is a breeze, no greasy pan to try and clean.

So, how do you cook your bacon?

I don't think they offer this one any more, but you can get it on ebay, this one I believe is sooo much better than the Mr. T's version, and bigger....

most of the time I will buy the hormel black label that is precooked at Sam's Club.
I don't have a pkg here, but I think there's about 75 slices for around $9 (less than buying at grocery store for raw)
    I hate the greasy mess!
I will also buy turkey bacon when I can get it real cheap.
that doesn't make much of a mess. If I have about 4 pkgs, I will line 3 sheets with foil and will do it all in the oven. keep some in the fridge and freeze the rest.

I can throw in frozen pork chops, steaks, burgers, and un frozen

corn on the cob~ 10 minutes (fresh ears)
    bisquits
    sausage/bacon
    chicken nuggets
    fish sticks
    fries
    hotdogs
    roast
    baked potatoes
    ribs
    chicken
turkey, mine is up to 10 pounds, even frozen!
    sweet potatoes
    baked apples, pears
reheated pizza is good, makes it crispy again instead of microwave.

    just about anything really
baked things generally don't do well though, I buy those bags of pillsbury individual frozen bisquits, cook on on one side, then flip and finish cooking.
I tried to put a tonys pizza in one time, and it cooked on top, but for some reason stayed yucky soggy on bottom. But you can cook your own home made on sliced french bread, that comes out good and crispy.

Mr. T's version is small, and it is surrounded/cooks in a huge HEAVY glass container, this one is bigger, the top lifts off easy and is a plastic surrounding and glass bottome, real easy to clean.

listen to me, you'd think I was trying to sell them LOL

    anyways, I really enjoy mine.

I like it though, because when my DS wants fries and chicken nuggets, instead of the deep fryer I bake them in here.

I suppose it is healthier, all the grease drips to the bottom glass pan, and it doesn't set in it while cooking. I like it because if I don't have anything for dinner, I can throw in a frozen something and have it cooked quick, and it's good and not dry...

I just picked this one random from ebay, they have lots more listed, this is the one I have
    http://cgi.ebay.com/THANE-FLAVOR-WAV...item3a61f2835f

    also:
I enjoy it alot during the hot months in summer, because it doesn't give off any heat

i cook my bacon in the oven, it's a lot easier, no turning. i set the oven on broil and it cooks fast. the only thing i hate about cooking bacon in the oven is cleaning the oven later. it beats getting burned by popping bacon grease when you cook it on top of te stove.

    I fry it

I so so rarely buy bacon I'll only buy the center cut and it has to be really really lean -- when I'm done there is hardly any oil in the pan

I hate to fry anything since I always get burnt by popping grease. So I buy turkey bacon and cook it in the microwave. It tastes the same to me and doesn't shrink a lot.

Oven for me... I burn it on the stove top... always have and probably always will... so I don't really know any other way to do it and have it come out right. My Memaw makes it in the mic and I find it's not crispy enough... but still pretty good.
