Class Action suit question
Have you ever got a check from a class action suit you didn't join? They said it was for a drug I bought that the company charged too much for. They said they got my name from the pharmacy where I bought it and added me to the lawsuit. Do they do that and is the check I got legitimate or not? Would you cash it?

I've received a few checks from class action suits, but all of them I had to apply for.
Can you go back (or call) and ask the Pharmacist about it?

I have gotten one but don't remember what the lawsuit was for. You can probably google the name on the check and tell if they are legit.

I did take the drug back then, They said they got the information from the pharmacy and insurers. They said some people signed up and others they got from the pharmacies and insurers. They're right about me taking the drug when they said I did. I looked it up and they did settle the lawsuit. And it was for when I was taking it.

I got one when Blockbuster was sued. I didn't join that one, yet still got a check. Im involved with one now with Verizon. Haven't joined in, so I will see what happens.

This one was for Tricor. I did take it during the time they said people were being over charged for it.

I should probably file one regarding my meds, lol.
Without insurance, the 2 I take, are nearly $900 a bottle each.
That is just crazy.
Still costs me $300 a month, but I'm so grateful to have health insurance.

Thats the way my husbands medicine was. Between Advair, Spiriva and nebulizer nmedicine we were paying $900 something a month when he didn't have medicare. Thats why we ended up filing bankruptcy. We ran our credit cards up really high paying medical expenses and for medicine. We were paying almost a thousand a month in minimum payments and finally couldn't pay it any longer because we only get $1536 a month to live on.

You can also call the paying bank and ask if its a legit check.
