It hasn't gotten up to $3 here yet but it's gotten really close to it, like $2.99.9

I paid $ 2.95 yesterday and of course today the station right next to my office was at $ 2.92. Of course I didn't need gas when I was near there yesterday. My car has a 21 gallon tank but it does get 16 mpg and that is with a 5.7 ltr V-8. But when I bought my Jeep I did a cost comparison of my Jeep verses buying a Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander hybrid and with the "gas savings" of the hybrids I would only have to drive one of the 15 years to make up the difference in cost between my Jeep and one of those hybrids. I figured it at that time with $ 5.00 per gallon gas so I am still ahead of the curve on the fuel.

Its in the $2.7? here. But the price of oil just keeps going up. For what reason? I feel its getting insane. Whats weird is I recall analyst saying it was supposed to go down a few months ago. Guess their prediction went backwards...

I always remember gas going up in the summer... never in the winter. Thankfully, I walk everywhere & DHs car gets 38 mpg, or if its nice out he takes his motorcycle.

I paid 3.29 today for midgrade the cheap stuff is 3.15

we've been over $3 for a long time now -- some stations are as high as $3.89 for the cheap stuff.

I just went and got gas last night and paid 2.91 a gallon after my discount.
