clothes
Do you think you have too many clothes, just the right amount of clothes , or not enough clothes?
Right now I need to clean out my closet. I am like the joke where the woman stands in front of a full closet and says I have nothing to wear. Either it doesn't fit anymore or it has something wrong with it or I just don't like it.

I have just the right amount, every season I go through my dresser and get rid of anything I haven't worn -- so 4 times a year I purge

LMAO....I stand in front of the closets saying "I don't have anything to wear!" I have 6 dressers full and 3 closets...1 closet is my work clothes (jeans & tshirts), 1 closet is dress up clothes, and the last one is the fat clothes closet that I HOPE I will grow into!

Not me, I hate having clothes that I won't / don't wear. Its just more clutter really. If I don't wear it, I donate it. Then again, I buy 99% of my clothes at thrift stores anyway.

Everyone in my house has too many clothes. I think it stems back to when my DH and I were kids not having enough clothes so now we go overboard in the other direction. My DD goes through her clothes a few times a year and I go through the rest once or twice a year and donate to the Salvation Army.

I have a closet full but it's my kids who have the most. Their closets and dressers are crammed and that doesn't include what's laying on the floor or in the laundry. One time my daughter cleaned her room and decided that everything was dirty. She brought down 12 baskets of clothes and that wasn't even all of it. I was like ok, maybe they have too much lol They go through their clothes all the time and get rid of what they no longer wear, doesn't fit, or isn't in good enough shape to wear. What's in good condition, we try to find someone with kids who wear that size and just give it to them or sell it to them for cheap (it's amazing how many people won't just take it, but will buy it for $15). Sadly, we don't know many people with kids younger than mine

Not enough... but, I'm working on getting approved for the gastric sleeve... so I'm just fine w/ getting through w/ what I got... My husband on the other hand... we have a walk in and he has more than 3/4 of it. Mostly Tshirts (that he gets for like 1 to 3 bucks at Mardells) and a crap load of khakis that a friend of his gave him. They're 3 sizes too big and about 4 inches too long, but he won't let me good will them... err.

Not enough.
Seriously, I have 2 pair of sweats 3 pair of slacks, 4 sweaters, 3 polo style shirts, 2 jeans, 4 long sleeve shirts, and maybe 6 t shirts. I have 3 winter.fall dresses and 2 spring/ summer dresses.
My husband: OMG: he owns more than any man I have ever seen!
I know I need more, but never think to get myself anything: I buy for others and forget to get something.

I can never have too many clothes but I have edited them down quite a bit. If I buy something new then something old has to go. I alos go through my closets seasonally & disguard anything I hadn't worn the previous season.
Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids.
